How to Use the Prepare Your Home for Summer Template
You will first need to download the free template file to your computer by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.
Next, you will want to change the categories that you see to rooms of your own home. Below each room, you will see a list of examples that will help keep your entire house cool during the hot summer season.
Once the rooms highlighted in orange are changed to fit the general structure of your own home, you can add, delete, or change any of the examples listed to prepare your home for summer.
For example, if you want to “clean out your closet” of the main bedroom and give away clothes that are too old or too hot for summer, you can add that below the category “Main Bedroom.”
Once you have completed your list, then it’s time to print. Go back to the top of the page and select “File” and then choose the “Print” option that you see from the list.
Once you have your copy and the summer season is quickly approaching, just go down your list and check off items as you complete them. It’s really that simple!
